This custom designed Glass Mosaic Childrens name plaque is 15 inches by 15 inches and has the name Xavier and Ariel. The mom is a Dallas Fan so she wanted a blue star for him and the sea shell for Ariel. This is a combination of hand cut and ground glass with broken glass backround and grouted lite gray. The polished rocks over the letter i in each name is just a special touch. As always the frame is custom made for this glass mosaic.
This custom designed Glass Mosaic Hendrix guitar is my adaptation of a Jimi Hendrix guitar. I did this for a friend who named his son Hendrix. As you can tell it is a glass mosaic with all of the glass for the guitar and the name hand cut and ground and a light gray broken glass backround for accent. I have also added polished rocks forming musical notes, and a couple of other glass pieces to round everything out. It is 18 inches by 25 inches and attached to hardi backer board and grouted. This was a fun project. It is a representation of the Philippine flag. A good friend wanted it made for his girl friend who is from the Philippines. I tried to make it look like a crackle finish. It is 16 x 22 and 19 x 25 finished with the custom made frame. Because of the small nature of the broken glass this piece was some work. Enjoy
This Broken glass mosaic Farm Scene is one my favorites. I originally designed this as a stained glass project then decided to do it in broken glass. I designed this farm scene, so it is as though you are looking out the window from the house at the barn. It is 25 x 36 finished.
